Day 01: Delhi – Arrival

We Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 7 Nights / 8 Days Royal Rajasthan tour. You will be welcomed and escorted to your pre-booked hotel by our representative on your arrival at the Delhi Airport. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb -tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch visit President House, India Gate, National Museum.

After lunch drive to Jaipur, also known as the pink city of India. After arriving, check into the hotel. You’re free to relax in the evening. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building colour. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort, Jal mahal.

After lunch, visit local attractions including Hawa Mahal (a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside), then visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace  – a palace complex in Jaipur, Albert Hall & Museum and in the evening you can explore the handicrafts market. After a hearty dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur- Bikaner

After a hearty breakfast, proceed for Bikaner- the place famous for heritage forts, palaces, and temples built of red sandstone. Bikaner is also home to world’s largest Camel breeding farm. Upon your arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit major attractions of Bikaner including Junagarh Fort, founded in year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh who was a general in the army of mighty Mughal emperor Akbar and rest of the Fort was improved by his successors then visit Lalgah palace and Museum.

In the evening, visit ‘National Research Center on Camel’ and get to know about camel breeding. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Bikaner – Jodhpur

After breakfast check out of the hotel in Bikaner and proceed to Jodhpur, also known as the blue city. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert, of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue. After arriving in Jodhpur check in to the hotel, visit Mehrangarh Fort, Mehrangarh fort- one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls, then visit Umaid Bhawan Palace & Jaswant Thada. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Jodhpur – Udaipur

The sixth day of your 7 Nights / 8 Days Royal Rajasthan tour, today after breakfast check out the Jodhpur hotel and proceed to Udaipur – the lake city, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559. En route you will visit The Ranakpur Jain temple. After reaching Udaipur, check in to the hotel.

In the evening you’re free to relax at your hotel or you can explore the city of your own. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Udaipur

After breakfast in your hotel proceed for the tour of Udaipur city. The first place you will visit in the morning will be Saheliyon ki Baari. After that, we will take you to Jagdish Temple and then you will move to City Palace complex. Another famous place you will visit is Mor Chowk. Apart from these another famous place in the city you will visit Fateh Sagar Lake. If you are an art lover then you must visit Folk Art Museum. Witness the breath-taking sunset in ‘Pichola’ and enjoy the beauty of nature, also you will visit the local city markets and have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Udaipur – Delhi / Depart

On the last day of your tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel. We will drop you at the Udaipur airport to take your domestic flight for Delhi and from the International airport you can board your International flight back home.
