Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 7 Nights/ 8 Days Golden Triangle with Orchha & Khajuraho tour. At Delhi airport arrival you will be welcomed by one of our representatives who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel.

You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Then visit India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. Later at evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi – Jaipur

On the second day of your tour, after breakfast visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch proceed to Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building color. After arriving check in to the hotel. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 03 – Jaipur

On the Third day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle tour with Orchha & Khajuraho tour, after breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal in the evening. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 04 – Jaipur – Agra

After breakfast proceed to Agra -the city of marbles . En-route you will visit Fatehpur sikri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. After arriving you will check in to your hotel. In the evening you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river of Agra city, a UNESCO World Heritage site was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Then later on you can visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for you family and friends. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 05 – Agra

On the fifth day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle tour with Orchha & Khajuraho tour, you will visit the beautiful Taj Mahal at Sunrise to experience the stunning sunrise view of the monument. There you can spend an hour taking photographs and relaxing in the lush green gardens of Taj Mahal. After breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, people also refer to it as Baby Taj Mahal because it has Minars(towers) similar to those of the Taj Mahal. In the evening visit local markets and buy handicrafts for you family and friends. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 06 – Agra – Orchha – Khajuraho

On the sixth day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle tour with Orchha & Khajuraho, check out of the hotel. You will be escorted to the Agra railway station to board your train to Jhansi. Upon your arrival at Jhansi railway station, our representative will receive you and will take you to Khajuraho, on the way visit Orchha temple, Forts & Mahals, proceed to Khajuraho. After arriving in Khajuraho check in to hotel. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 07 – Khajuraho – Delhi

On the seventh day of your 7 Nights/ 8 Days Golden Triangle tour with Orchha & Khajuraho, after breakfast visit Khajuraho city sight seeing. Khajuraho is the famous pilgrimage place of Hindu community where temples are having some great artistic architecture. You can also participate in the Pooja ceremony that is practiced here in these temples. After lunch our driver will take you back to the Jhansi railway station, catch your train to Delhi, after arriving in Delhi we will transfer you to your hotel. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 08 – Delhi – Depart

On the last day of your 7 Nights/ 8 Days Golden Triangle tour with Orchha & Khajuraho, after breakfast check out of the hotel. Fly back to Delhi, we will drop you at the International Airport at Delhi to Catch your flight back to home.
