Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 13 Nights/14 Days Golden Triangle with Ladakh tour. After your arrival at the Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by one of our representative, who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel.
You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi
On the second day of your tour, after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch visit President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 03 – Delhi – Agra
Today after breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles.
After arriving, check in at the Agra hotel. Freshen up and take some rest, after lunch visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. In the evening, you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city and then go back to hotel for the night.
Day 04 – Agra – Jaipur
On the fourth day of your 13 Nights/14 Days Golden Triangle with Ladakh tour, after breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days of life imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, it is also an architectural marvel. People also refer to it as Baby Taj Mahal because it is has Minars(towers) similar to that of the Taj Mahal. Then proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city, en route you will visit Fatehpur sikri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. At arrival check in at the Jaipur hotel. In the evening you can explore local markets. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 05 – Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building color. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal in the evening. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 06 – Jaipur – Leh
On the sixth day of your 13 Nights/ 14 Days Golden Triangle with Ladakh tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel, we will drop you at the Jaipur airport to catch your flight to Leh. After arriving at the Leh airport our representative will meet and assist you to your hotel. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 07 – Leh
On the seventh day of your Golden Triangle with Ladakh tour, after breakfast proceed to explore the local attractions of Leh, visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace and other attractions, later in the evening , walk around the local market. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 08 – Leh – Sham Valley & Alchi Lamayuru
On day eight, after breakfast, carry packed lunch for the day. Sightseeing of 1000 year old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Proceed to Moon Landscape & Lamayuru. After visiting Lamayuru drive back to Ulleytokpo. After dinner, rest for the night at your Ulleytopko.
Day 09 – Ulleytokpo – Leh
After Breakfast depart from Uleytopko, Thereafter proceed to the Likir Monastrey to visit the splendid three storied Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you’ll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues, Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace Hiking only and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia). After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 10 – Leh – Khardungla Pass – Nubra valley & Hundur Sand Dunes
On ninth day of your 13 Nights/ 14 Days Golden Triangle with Ladakh tour, Drive 120 Kms 4/5hrs, after Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by Afternoon. Post lunch, you’re free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Spend the night in your camp.
Day 11 – Diskit Monastery – Leh
After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Reach Leh by afternoon. Evening free time at Leisure to explore Leh market. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 12 – Leh – Pangong Lake
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. En-route visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery, Arrive at Pangong Lake, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Day 13 – Pangong Lake – Leh
